Today, on 27th of September 2008, the KIBERTRON project is celebrating 6 years of its creation.
Last year was one of the most difficult for the KIBERTRON team and the project as a whole.
Still lacks funding amounting to at least 5 million euro for finishing the research and building the first prototype of the KIBERTRON robot.
The reasons for this are two main areas:
- Home: lack of adequate managerial personnel in the KIBERTRON team;
- Foreign: lack of adequate investment and partnership environment in Bulgaria, in the areas of innovation and new technologies.
The efforts of the team, remain focused on providing funds for development of the project.
Means of self, ie own funds, which the team has put into the KIBERTRON project from the project start to date, amount to around 250 000 euros.
